This Pool Checker Tournament is dedicated to two Chicago players who passed away this year and will be very much missed: THERMAN "CHICKEN GEORGE" EARNEST, who was one of our most faithful participants ever since the first tournament here in 1999, playing every year except once or twice when his health condition did not permit; and STONEY BURKE, a tireless organizer, head of the Chicago club, and assistant director at National Tournaments, who still worked for the Postal Service in his 70's with over 50 years of seniority. |

Sunday, Nov. 10 – International (Big-Board) Checkers

--Sunday event will be played in Wendy's Restaurant across the street, 320 Dixie Way S.
Entry fee $20 for one day, $30 for both days.
Register 9:30 a.m., begin at 10. Round robin or Swiss format.
Two divisions if sufficient entries, divided by “South Bend Ratings” from previous years.
90% of entry fees will go into prize fund. Place prizes and special bonus for game scores!
